Monarch Logistics was formed in 2004 by joining the two companies Monarch Freight (established 1995) and Monarch AFL ( Established 2002) together. These companies operated specialist services to and From The CIS, Poland Italy and Germany.
European Logistical Solutions was formed in 2005 operating as a specialist freight company providing urgent emergency transport solutions throughout the UK and Europe. Due to the level of growth experienced it was incorporated as a limited company and began trading as European Logistical Solutions Ltd in 2007 thus enabling further expansion. This quickly resulted in the company relocating to its current secure warehousing facility in Birmingham to enable transhipment and storage facilities to add to the list of services available to clients.
As growth continued, it became inevitable that the company would need an additional depot in order to offer clients a greater service and flexibility within sectors which are heavily influenced by critical timings and require the ability to respond rapidly and with flexibility to changing parameters. The natural position for the second depot was Paderborn, Germany, with a facility to provide fresh drivers to take over with the transportation of urgent goods to their onward destination. This continuous movement of goods thus reduces transit times and ensures a prompt and efficient service. Therefore in January 2008, the Paderborn depot was opened, offering the same high quality express transport on dedicated vehicles, together with transhipment and storage facilities as the Birmingham depot. More recently European Logistical Solutions has expanded further and opened a facility near Poznan, Poland offering the same high level of service already operated by our existing sites.
2009 Saw Monarch Logistics Ltd purchased shares in European Logistical Services and the two companies fused together perfectly So it was no surprise that in 2012 Monarch Logistics purchased the remainder of the shares and The company became Monarch ELS Limited
Monarch ELS Limited acknowledge that our customers require a high level of service and expect the flexibility to respond to the on going changes that the industry regularly demands, therefore both of our offices are manned by professional and friendly staff 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
